Holy Cow
I just put my old original xbox disc for Knights of the Old Republic into my Xbox One. And it played.
Not exactly KotOR 3 or the HD remake I was hoping for, but it's something.
I'm going to see if KotOR 2 and Republic Commando are backwards compatible next.
Hello
I was trying to put off updating my journal, even though it's been years, because I didn't want to lose my journal skin, but something's happened that I simply can't not share.
I commissioned the wonderful ~KaanaMoonshadow (https://www.deviantart.com/kaanamoonshadow) and she made this:
Cover art for my Sara/Reyes fic!
Yes, peeps, I'm finally writing again. Mass Effect Andromeda was an amazing game, and I'll defend it like a mother bear. If you're interested, said fic can be read in its entirety on AO3, or I've posted 2 not-so-NSFW chapters in my gallery here:
Anyone that's familiar with my writing will know to expect a whole lot of smutty-smut.
Speaking of anyone fami
PSA: Re: ME3 extended cut
New content begins during Shepard's run to the beam. So no need to load prior to Cronos station (like I did). Although, this did allow me to see that they may have, possibly, fixed the Kenneth-Gabby-Ashley-engineering bug. More testing on that point required.
ALSO. DON'T shoot at ghost boy. Always a laugh before, now it's like "SO BE IT." So don't.
Still playing, so for now,
That is all.
Update? Le Gasp! And a meme worth doing
UPDATE 6/22/2012: I got tagged back (which is totally against the rules, but I'm game). Please see my comments if you'd like to read through it and check for your name - people who fill out the meme when I tag them now get cookies!
I'm updating this because I've missed and haven't heard from so many of you in ages. And also, I was tagged.
Life updates:
Not much. If you want to peek at my scraps, you'll see my new pug. She's a rescue. And I already heart her. It's hot here at the moment. Too hot. I miss Laramie like burning (heh, literally).
Meme-age ahead:
1. You must post these rules.
2. Answer the questions the tagger set for you, and

THANK YOU!
I never actually got to finish ME3 until a couple months after I got it, but my friend finished it almost immediately and she was telling me how there was such a big uproar about the ending. I didn't really believe her until the complaints started popping up EVERYwhere. So I was really apprehensive when I played the ending, but I didn't mind it! I mean, it wasn't that great, but I liked how a lot of it was open to interpretation. Sure there were loop holes and I thought it was neat how they added the Joker scene to explain why the Normandy wasn't caught in the blast in the EC, but, I mean, do ME fans really need to be spoon-fed every single little detail? I mean, what happened to imagination?
I totally don't mean to complain about the EC, though. I liked the additions, and I really appreciate the extent bioware went to for their fans, but I just feel that those people complaining and threatening to boycott bioware needed to calm down. Personally I felt that the original ending made a little more sense, but yeah synthesis was definitely weird. I do think it was a really interesting obvservation, though, the idea that everything evolves into a super-organism at the end. But I didn't want to end a series bent on destroying Reapers by keeping them alive.
I have to say, I was very happy with them lowering the EMS rating, though. I'm not much of a multiplayer and I totally can't do shooter multiplayer (as you no doubt remember ). But I really wish they hadn't made it so that you could only get the best ending with the multiplayer. Still it was definitely fun haha. I can't wait until they do a dlc for Aria taking Omega back, though. (I really hope they do).
