Thanksgiving Wishes

Hope everyone has something awesome planned this week! I really love Thanksgiving. It's not as grand as Christmas, no, but it's all about food and family, and giving thanks for what we've got. It's not wrapped up in religion, and you get to skip the stress of making sure to buy gifts. It's just... laid-back and fuzzy. Egg nog and pumpkin pie. Yummy.

I'm going to my mom's house. She lives here in town, so I don't have to travel or anything. I don't cook, at all, so it's nice to have someone close who does. 3 of my 4 brothers will be there, so it should be a good time. Then, you know, football, and possibly a parade on the telly.

This year, Thanksgiving just happens to fall on November 27th, which is my wedding anniversary. Crappy day for it, I guess, but me and my man plan to do something special on friday, instead.

Around here, we like to put up the Christmas tree the weekend following Thanksgiving, so I get to do that, too.

What I'm up to artistically; I just finished this princessjaden.deviantart.com/a… , and to be perfectly honest, the more I stare at it, the more stuff I see that I don't like. Oh, well. Guess that happens. I'm going to possibly try my hand at the rest of the stuff in this folder princessjaden.deviantart.com/f… (I have a wicked plan to turn the male Revan into Atton, too), but I'm not sure how or when. I've got some fan fic brewing; a wicked little tale of Jaq and the death of a certain Jedi master, then a larger multi-chaptered affair with Jaq (again) and a Jedi captive. But I haven't really felt the desire to read or write lately, so we'll see.
